River Rafting Cusipata -Full Day  Level I-II

The Urubamba river runs from the high Andean ranges down through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, past Machupicchu and into the jungle. It has some exciting white water depending on the section of the river being done and the time of the year. One of our most popular Rafting sections during the season is the Chuquicahuana “Chuqui” class IIl sections on the Upper Urubamba river. There are good class III rapids and the water is not contaminated.

We’ll pick you up from the respective hotel at 08:30 hrs, we head to the Vilcanota River, We will arrived to Cusipata village where we will camp, This trip takes 2 hours. Upon arrival we leave our luggage and receive a brief explanation from the guide and commands to be carried out on the boat. The rapids in this section are quick from I up to II, a safety kayaker is also sent. You will enjoy 2 hours of adventure traveling in the river. At the end of the trip we’ll have luch which is a variation of food to suit the client in addition to soft drinks, etc. After lunch you can enjoy the sauna and later we will return to Cusco arriving at 16.30 hrs.

NOTE: THE RAPIDS ARE CATEGORIZED AS FOLLOWS :

DIFFICULTY I-II:

Easy safe, something exciting

DIFFICULTY III-IV:

Good and exciting, with some risk

DIFFICULTY V:

Very exciting and risky, additional vessel is needed security can be a kayak or boat, is the highest level that can be done with tourists.

DIFFICULTY VI:

Extreme risk, you can´t do rafting

River Rafting Includes:

• Professional Canoeing Guide.
• Full of boating equipment: wetsuit, life jacket, windbreaker suit, helmet, paddles.
• Cold lunch (entree, dessert, fruit, hot and cold drinks, bread, etc.), We also have options for vegetarians people. This should be informed one day before departure.
• Private transportation from the hotel to the river and from the river to the hotel.
• Safe Kayak.
